Uniting Brazil (intro)

Updates on the Brazilian mission

My encouragements

I often have doubts, so I've decided to start putting together a page I can read that encourages me when things are tough, a page written by friends:

@Jay_T09: "@gavinunited you are an inspiration, giving up everything to do Gods will for your life, to bring God glory... #respect

Tanya:Hey Gav - hope you are doing fantastic! So last night after church about twelve of us prayed for you & your Brazil trip & wow the presence of the Holy Spirit was overwhelming!
We prayed for confidence & courage for you...also for a fearlessness and perseverance. For favour on all the levels & with all the people where you might need it....oh & a mayor one: finances....not just enough but loads & loads!!! Then also for things to start in Brazil so that they are ready & accepting when you arrive...also for people to journey with there & to have fellowship with in Brazil :) oh & let's not forget the people here...so that all the stuff that needs to happen here will be sorted...also for your ministry here to not end but be left of a high note & that all the kids @ Exploits see the example you set for them #nopressure#...HAHA
So now I know God's going to give you all this...but just to give affirmation...Saturday @ Jesus Culture they talked about being called to the nations & guess what's the first country that was mentioned: #wait4it#...BRAZIL!!!! Pretty cool huh? Me & Belinda both had goose-bumps...but wait there's more: there was a vision of a fire ball in South-Africa starting at the north, running down to the cape & then being sling-shot into Africa, then the fire goes on to Europe, the middle east as well a America...all South Africans are the coals to this fire & in our prayer last night we just felt to Lord say that you're the coal that's going ahead of the fire ball to prepare the people for the flame  :) #mindblowing#
So I know it's loads to take in but hopefully in between all the hash tags & spelling mistakes you find encouragement and inspiration for what's to come!
Be Blessed!T

Hey Gav - I hope you're doing well! I read Deuteronomy 11 tonight and it really spoke to me about your trip to Brazil :-) here Moses writes to Israel's new generation about entering the promised land. Verse 8 stood out where it says 'you will have the strength to go in and take over the land you are about to enter', also verse 12 where God will send rains in their proper seasons to bring harvest with perfect timing.  Then 23 'the Lord will drive out all nations(enemies) ahead of you, though they are much stronger than you' and 25 'No one will be able to stand against you'. I think this is a promise that God is already preparing the work He has set out for you there and that you'll prosper in the land of milk & honey. Be encouraged & I'm praying for you!
